Pixovar View is a desktop application. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your data when you use it.
Pixovar View runs entirely on your own computer. It does not create an account, does not require sign-in, does not send usage data, crash reports, or analytics of any kind back to MagicPaletteStudios, and has no way to identify who is using it or how.
Every image you open, edit, or export is processed locally on your computer. Nothing you open in the app is uploaded, transmitted, or shared with MagicPaletteStudios or anyone else. Batch operations, edits, and exports all happen on your own machine.
Pixovar View uses several open-source libraries for format decoding and file export (listed in Help > License Agreement). These run inside the app on your computer and do not independently transmit data anywhere.
If you choose to support development via Help > Make a Donation, that link takes you to our page on Buy Me a Coffee. Any payment information you provide there is handled directly by Buy Me a Coffee and its payment processor (Stripe) under their own privacy policies — MagicPaletteStudios never sees or stores your payment details.
If you're reading this on magicpalettestudios.com, standard web hosting logs (such as IP addresses, for security and infrastructure purposes) may be collected by our hosting provider, Netlify, as is standard for any hosted website.
If Pixovar View ever adds features that involve data collection (such as optional crash reporting or update checks), this policy will be updated first, and any such feature will be clearly disclosed and optional.
